Profiles
Each profile keeps its own version, mods and memory. Switch between them from the Home dock.
Built‑in mod browser
Find and install mods from Modrinth, matched to your profile's loader and Minecraft version, with update checks.
Microsoft or offline
Sign in with Microsoft to play on online servers and Realms. Offline accounts are for singleplayer and LAN, and you still need to own Minecraft.
Host a server
Spin up a server for your friends right from the launcher, and see live player counts and ping for saved servers.
Private by design
No telemetry or analytics in the launcher. Microsoft sign‑ins are encrypted on your PC with Windows DPAPI. See what leaves your PC.

Download the installer

Run it
Open the file. If Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info then Run anyway. This appears because the launcher is new and not yet code‑signed.

Sign in and play
Add your Microsoft or offline account, choose a profile and press Play. The launcher downloads the game files for you.
